1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to OneAdvice (the "Platform"), owned and operated by Infrablue Materials Technology Private Limited (CIN: U72900DL2024PTC428901), having its registered office at Level 7, DLF Centre, Sansad Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi 110001, India (hereinafter referred to as "OneAdvice", "Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using our website (oneadvice.in) or mobile applications, you ("User", "Seeker", "Expert", or "You") agree to be strictly bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease accessing and using the Platform.
2. Intermediary Status under Indian Law
OneAdvice operates strictly as an Intermediary within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000, and complies with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
OneAdvice is a technology marketplace that enables users ("Seekers") to discover, connect, and consult independent third-party credentialed professionals ("Experts") via real-time audio calling (WebRTC), instant messaging (WebSockets), and written Q&A advisory. OneAdvice does not provide legal advice, medical diagnosis, tax filings, or professional guarantees directly, and does not employ Experts as staff consultants.
3. Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By creating an account, you represent that all information provided is accurate and verifiable. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, password, and Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP) codes.
4. Service Delivery Modes & Billing Architecture
The Platform provides three distinct consultation mechanisms:
- Call Now (Live Voice Consultation): Direct peer-to-peer VoIP audio calling between Seeker and Expert powered by WebRTC. Billed per minute at the Expert's declared rate (e.g., ₹15/min), with charges calculated strictly server-side as
ceil(elapsed_seconds / 60). - Chat Now (Real-Time Messaging): Encrypted session-based text and document exchange powered by Django Channels WebSockets. Billed per minute while the session is active.
- Ask a Question (Written Advisory): Structured inquiry with file attachments. Paid as a one-time flat fee with an expert turnaround guarantee.
5. Pre-paid Wallet & Server-Authoritative Billing
All real-time consultations are funded exclusively via the seeker's pre-paid OneAdvice Wallet. Seekers recharge their wallet through licensed payment aggregator gateways (Razorpay) using UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, or NetBanking. Minimum wallet balance requirements (e.g. 1 minute of consultation) must be maintained to initiate a session. Our billing engine continuously verifies affordability during an active call/chat and enforces an automated disconnect if funds reach zero, ensuring a Zero Negative Balance Guarantee.
Platform Commission & Net Settlement: Experts receive 80% net earnings from all billable consultations after our 20% platform service fee.
6. Code of Conduct & Prohibited Activities
Users and Experts agree NOT to:
- Exchange personal contact details (phone numbers, email addresses, personal UPI IDs) to circumvent platform billing.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, or illegal content.
- Use the Platform for life-threatening medical emergencies or formal courtroom filings (refer to our Disclaimer).
- Harass, stalk, threaten, or abuse consultants or seekers.
7. Intellectual Property & License
All software, brand marks, logos, interfaces, database schemas, and proprietary algorithms on OneAdvice are the exclusive intellectual property of Infrablue Materials Technology Private Limited. Unauthorized duplication, reverse engineering, or scraping is strictly prohibited.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in New Delhi, India.
